In this workshop we will explore more deeply the themes presented in the lecture.
- How to avoid getting stuck in one kind of disciplinary ‘style’ as our children grow: learn how to train creative compliance for the young child, build emotional skills for the elementary age, and for the teenager, manage critical choices.
- The difference between behaviour that is a normal expression of a healthy will as opposed to willfulness and over controlling.
- Easing behaviour problems around sleep, food and for the very young, potty training.
- How to work with the “No!” response from our children.
- How simplifying the fast paced life our families experience can have a profound effect on how our children respond to our direction.
