Grade 12 Rose Ceremony

Grade 12 Rose Ceremony

We welcome the families of our current Graduating Class to join us on May 31st for the Spring Rose Ceremony.

At this Spring Ceremony, our upcoming Graduates will be presented with a rose and best wishes for the future, thus marking their transition into the world. As a gift from the Grade School, each class will present a contribution from their years’ work – a song, poem, or recitation – giving the Graduates a chance to reminisce and experience again what they have learned over the years.

The strong connection between our two Rose Ceremonies, welcoming Grade One in September and bidding a fond farewell to Grade Twelve in May, is experienced by all students; and is remembered fondly by students and faculty alike.

The Vancouver Waldorf School is situated on the unceded ancestral territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw) and Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ) Nations.
