Strategic Planning & Visioning Committee

Strategic Planning & Visioning Committee

The Vancouver Waldorf School (VWS) Strategic Planning & Visioning Committee was formed in 2016 to facilitate the creation of a 3-Year VWS Strategic Plan that includes vision, mission, values, strategic priorities, measurable actions and financial projections. This will be a living document that will be monitored and reviewed annually and prepared in accordance with AWSNA guidelines.

The Committee is not responsible for determining the strategic plan; rather its role is to develop and implement a participatory process that collects the best thinking of the community as a whole. The Board of Trustees and the College of Teachers will jointly approve the VWS Strategic Plan.

Please see our Mandate for more information or reach out to one of the Committee members listed below.

The Committee members are:
Lorna Fortin – Board and Faculty representative
Rebeka Eriksson – Board representative (Co-Chair)
Rachel Garratt (Co-Chair), Linda Zheng and Chloe Gow-Jarrett – Parent volunteers with experience in strategic planning/visioning process.
