HOST FAMILY WANTED My name is Martha, I’m 18 years old and live in Sydney, Australia. I am currently finishing my final year of school, and in 2020 am hoping to take a gap year before starting university. I was educated up until Class 6 at a Steiner school, where my mum works as a Kindergarten teacher. I have travelled to many other countries, however, have never been to Canada; and I have always wanted to visit. I am looking for a kind family who would welcome me from February onwards to stay with them for a month. In return, I am happy to offer babysitting, and any help with schoolwork or household chores (and also cooking!) I can provide good references and I am a quiet, easy-going person. I would love to hear from you. Warm regards Martha. firstname.lastname@example.org

I first earned an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree while competing as a varsity track athlete. From there, my fascination with the human body led me through my Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Diploma of Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University and many other credentials that help me better serve my patients and movement students. My roots in athletics and leadership development continue to be a part of what I do… helping people use their healthy and powerful bodies to realize their greatest selves.
I’m grateful to have been featured in leading magazines such as The Oprah Magazine, news segments, corporate media products such as Gaia and Air Canada’s En Route, as well as in a variety of online media, including shows like the Rachel Hunter TV Series. In addition to this, I’ve had the fortune of leading corporate sessions and workshops for companies like Good Life Project and authoring numerous articles in popular publications like Running Times and Gripped to name a couple, as well as several case studies in peer-focused journals.
I’m on a mission to drive a real change in our awareness of how our physical health directly impacts our lives. This passion helped me birth Lioness, a project designed to empower women into their greatest selves through the exploration and development of their physical bodies. Come join us!
