High School Math & Science Teacher
The Vancouver Waldorf School is looking for an experienced and energetic full-time High School (Grades 9 – 12) teacher in Math and Science to join our staff. We are seeking a teacher who has solid knowledge and background in their subject area, informed by their connection to anthroposophy. We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with demonstrated ability in classroom management. A genuine willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues within the department as well as across departments is essential.
Our High School teachers are contributing members of the Vancouver Waldorf School, actively involved in the life of the school through (among other things) participation in Faculty meetings, School events and committees (as established by the Pedagogical Carrying Group).
- Waldorf Teacher Certification preferred or willingness to pursue;
- BC Teacher Certificate (must be able to meet the BC Ministry of Education requirements);
- University Bachelor Degree; and
- Teaching experience in a Waldorf school.
