Week At A Glance – April 23 – 26
Dear VWS Families,
I hope you’ve had a wonderful 4-day weekend. Springtime at VWS can often feel like a mad dash from one school event to the next. In just these past few days, many of you have celebrated any combination of Passover, Good Friday, the full moon, Laylat al-Bara’at, Easter, and Earth Day (please let me know if have I missed your families’ traditions). When we are able to pause to breathe in the present moment, we can be reminded of how very valuable these events and festivals are to our school, family, and cultural life.
During the month of April, several new students have joined us at VWS. Please extend a warm welcome to:
- Theodore W. – Dandelion Preschool
- Owen T. – Grade 1
- Zachary W. – Grade 3
- Keely T. – Grade 4
- Amelie F. – Grade 9
- Louis T. – Grade 9
- Luana W. – Grade 9
- Anouk-Aimee U. – Grade 11
