Week At A Glance January 6 – 10

Dear Community,

Welcome back for the Winter Term! It’s wonderful to have the children back on campus today. In the Grade School, we began the morning with a special Three Kings assembly accompanied by our talented Principal, Lorna Fortin on cello. It was a beautiful way to set the tone for the next three months.

Upcoming Events:

WEDNESDAY – January 8
Class Rep Meetings 7:00 pm, GS

THURSDAY – January 9
Grade 1 Parent Evening 7:00 pm, GS

FRIDAY – January 10

Open Houses

Next week we will be opening our campuses for our annual Open Houses. All current and prospective families are invited to attend. Coming to one of our open houses is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Waldorf Education and experience our school. They include an overview of the Waldorf philosophy and curriculum, detailed information about our school, a walk through some of the classrooms, time to speak directly with members of the faculty and admissions, and Q & A sessions. Regardless of the age of your child(ren), you can benefit by getting a glimpse into what is to come, be it in the Early Childhood Centre, Grade School or High School.

The High School Open House is Tuesday, January 14 at 7:00 pm – Grades 7 & 8 families are strongly encouraged to attend.
The ECC & Grade School Open House is Saturday, January 18 at 10:30 am.

If you are available to volunteer at either event, please contact Carman Ho, in Admissions at cho@vws.ca, or stop in at her office to connect.
